The Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme helps small, early stage, high-risk companies raise investment by giving certain tax reliefs to UK tax paying investors. This makes investing in your company more attractive as it provides an incentive to investors

April 2023 SEIS Tax Relief Scheme Changes

Starting on the 6th of April 2023, companies can raise up to £250,000 under the SEIS tax relief scheme, comparing to the previous amount of £150,000.

Along with that, companies can now raise SEIS within the first 3 years of trading (previously 2 years).

Another change worth noting is that companies must have less than £350,000 in gross assets to be able to raise SEIS – previously £200,000.
